The Gaylord opened its Paradise Springs waterpark in May 2011. The 1,511-room hotel, which is focused on the meetings & conventions market, introduced a Western-themed outdoor waterpark offering a 10-acre pool, 27-foot tall winding water slide, 600-foot lazy river, 3 hot pools, and a 6,000 square foot lagoon. For the adventure sports enthusiast, the Gaylord also added a 42-foot long zipline where the rider drops into a pool at the end of the line. There are also private cabanas available for daily rental.
